The Inspector General is delighted to announce that the following members of the District have been successfully elected to the Higher Degrees by the Supreme Council and the ceremonies will be performed at the Grand East on the dates shown:
Promotion to the 31st Degree:

Ill.Bro. Stephen Knight of Cygnet Chapter on 7 Dec 22.
Promotion to the 30th Degree:
E&P.Bro. Bob Mount of Via Phari Chapter on 17 May 22.

April 2022 – Via Phari Chapter received E&P Bro. Ivan Saviotti (second left) as its newest Perfectee at a vibrant meeting at Beaconsfield. The ceremony was performed by the MWS, E&P Bro. Peter Stinson assisted by E&P Bro. Alan Payen 18º and Ill.Bro. Denis Gibney 30º with the Inspector General acting as Raphael and E&P Bro. Peter Waterson as Marshal.

Ivan is a Master Mason of Sowest Lodge No 3797 and was proposed by E&P Bro Marco Capobianco 18º (far left)and seconded by E&P Bro Vijaya Ragawan 18º (far right).
May 2022 – The Inspector General and Ill∴Bro Bernard Frow 32º, together with the District Recorder (who took the photograph) celebrate with Ill∴Bro Ivor Hawkins on the occasion of him receiving his 31º.
The ceremony was conducted by the Supreme Council 33º at the Grand East in Duke Street, St James’s on 24 May 2022 and was followed by a dinner at Mark Masons Hall.
Ivor is the Recorder of Chandos Chapter and we all wish him our heartiest congratulations on his preferment.

June 2022 – The Inspector General and members of Buckinghamshire District Rose Croix send a very warm welcome to our Order to E&P Bro. Denver Lynn.
Denver was perfected into Signum Lucis Chapter No. 1171 on Saturday, 25 June 2022 in an excellent ceremony conducted by the MWS, E&P Bro. Mel Shah and assisted by E&P Bro David Beale who conferred the Intermediate Degrees and presented the Collar and Signs.
Denver is a Past Master of Bulwer Lodge and was proposed by Ill∴Bro. Denis Gibney 30º (far right) and seconded by Ill∴Bro. John Stribling 30º (far left) .
We wish Denver many happy and successful years in our wonderful Order.
June 2022 – Hope Chapter at Aylesbury welcomed E&P Bro Ryan Pike to the Order.....
...on Monday 27th June in an excellent ceremony which was conducted by the MWS, E&P Bro. Malcolm Summers. He was ably assisted by the Officers of the Chapter and everyone enjoyed a very hospitable Festive Board afterwards.
The photo shows Ill Bro Martin Bell 32° (far left) from the Hamble River Chapter RC No 1035 of the Solent District in Hants & IOW who attended as Ryan’s guest and acted as Marshal for the ceremony next to our Inspector General, the MWS and E&P Bro. Ryan.

September 2022 – It was another busy meeting in Beaconsfield at Via Phari Chapter No. 1060 on 28 September 2022 when the agenda included the perfection of a new Prince and the enthronement of a new MWS.....
...In an excellent ceremony conducted by the MWS, E&P Bro. Peter Stinson 18º assisted by E&P Bro. Alan Payen and other members, the Chapter welcomed E&P Bro. Qais Shaker Al-Karawi (second from the left) as the latest Perfectee of the Chapter. Mark is a Master Mason of Sowest Lodge No 3797 and was proposed by E&P Bro Marco Capobianco 18º and seconded by E&P Bro Vijaya Ragawan 18º.
E&P Bro. Peter then enthroned his successor, E&P Bro. Ray Canning in another excellent ceremony in which the Address to the Princes was delivered by the Inspector General (second right).
We wish Qais many happy and successful years in our wonderful Order and Ray a most rewarding year as MWS of the Chapter.
November 2022 – Robert De Turnham Chapter No:917 at Bletchley welcomed E&P Bro Paul Evetts to the Order.....
...on Friday 11 November 2022 in an excellent ceremony which was led by the MWS, E&P Bro. John Marriott. He was ably assisted by the Officers of the Chapter and the MWS then demonstrated the Enthronement ceremony after being proclaimed for a second Year.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR MESSAGE
Princes All,
Christmas is done and having celebrated the anniversary of the birth of our Saviour, we are back to celebrating in our daily lives, throughout the coming New Year, His example of tolerance and love for others. That may well be difficult of course, in the wider world, with the various problems with which many communities are confronted but I know we will all be ready to offer support wherever our assistance may be deemed possible and appropriate.
The peaceful and inspiring environment of our masonic assemblies helps us to relax amongst friends and to renew our enthusiasm for life with family, work and other pursuits. This is particularly true of our Rose Croix meetings, and I pray that all of us, from the newest Perfectee to the most senior Past Sovereign, will continue to enjoy whatever activities we feel moved to undertake in the coming year.
District Recorder Peter issues a list of upcoming chapter meetings each month and I hope to see many of you, as members or visitors, as I travel the District. I wish you all a happy, prosperous and enjoyable New Year and look forward to seeing you soon.

Stephen is a member of Cygnet Chapter 753 and Mike is a member of the Robert De Turnham Chapter 917. Both Princes are also active members of the Buckinghamshire Higher Degrees Chapter and we all wish them both our heartiest congratulations on their preferment.
